Re: My 80 Trans Am
Thanks guys.Start on the interior next, got some Rover half leather Recaro's to go in.
Been away for a few days, went down to Bournemouth in the Lincoln, got just over 16 mpg which i am pretty chuffed with, was only expecting about 14,that was doing about 65 mph going and a steady 70 coming home so pretty good.
Saw this really nice Vette down in the centre of Bournemouth.

How was Bournmouth? I've got to ask! How many fill ups did it take to get there & back at 16mpg?

Was really nice down there but it's like being in a foreign country as about 99% of the people there are polish.
I filled up before i went, takes about £85 from low fuel light coming on.I filled up again about 70 miles or so from Bournemouth, was just under half a tank and took £65 and same again coming back.I used the first fill of £65 to work mpg out.Going off 16 mpg and just over 500 mile round trip it works out at about £180,probably cheaper than train for two people and more comfortable.

Re: My 80 Trans Am
Managed to snap the plastic end piece off my indicator lever so bought billet ones.Mine had cruise but i took it off ages ago so only needed a standard lever and had to bodge things a bit to make it fit as it's the earlier style lever for indicator. This billet set was almost £22 with shipping from the states, about the same price as a standard non cruise lever. For that price i got indicator, tilt lever and hazzard knob.

I thought same thing, could get the knob parts anodised as they are billet ali but stems are stainless so not sure if they can be anodised, guess i could always paint those bits though.
