The sentiment is appreciated by my heart (and that's what really counts), but by my head...? Wink

Those with black cars have good taste Wink I'm not opposed to red, I briefly owned a '73 Formula 400 in that colour.

Me too, I've tried not to add up all the funds I've sunk into my motoring hobby over the years!

My thoughts exactly Smile thanks. Not enough of the old Z28's bother with repop graphics and they should, it's part of that model variant.

Since I ditched the remnants of the defunct A/C system an A/C delete kit was needed, came via Ron the other month. I got the Master Kit http://www.acdelete.com/pages/70-81_F-Body.htm since my blower motor isn't working as it should, knackered bearings from the sound of it.

My HVAC system wasn't working either so the heater box was unbolted from the firewall. Old heater matrix came out and the new item went in...

Thankfully all of the actuators worked correctly when tested as did the blend door. Once I connected the HVAC to vacuum, all works via the heater controls.

Nothing really to report, took the gauge cluster out today, clock removed (which probably failed in the first week of the car's life). Also the water temperature gauge is dead. Had the circuit board bench tested, thankfully all power to the gauges is present.

Compounded the lens as well, pleasingly many of the scratches have been removed Smile Thinking about getting one of those quartz clock mechanisms too.

Finally got around to fitting the rear cover.

Bit a of a fiddly job, due to the creases the cover needed packing out with extra foam. Tried to steam out the creases with no avail, thankfully the end result turned out ok. The creases shouldn't of been there in the first place, repop parts...who needs em' eh Rolling Eyes Wink
