Re: 1984 Trans Am auto to manual progress
I have started plumbing in the fuel system with 10mm Teflon braided fuel for the feed and 8mm for the return. I also have a tumble polished fuel pressure regulator

I'm not sure where to put the regulator yet it need to go fairly high upbecause the fuel pipe is not that flexible.

I've managed to get some vee belts for the engine ,cut spacers for the alternator and power steering pump mounts, power steering pipes are on,MSD box and coil and dizzy are wired up and the engine now turns over on the key
All of the water hoses now have clips.
Not long now

The only thing that I have done inside is fit a 160MPH speedo to the dash ,new window and lock switches, and a Delc cd player [the car has the subwoofer option]
and the manual shift plate on the console.
As for the body it's very very good I've owned it since 1990 it's never had any paint, I've replaced the window sweeps and the triangles at the front of the doors
I have 2 sets of GTA wheels [I am going to get them re furbed]

A Spectre air filter arrived from the States the other day.
The fuel pump is now mounted by the rear axle and the pressure regulator is mounted by the radiator overflow tank
