Only in the fact it's on the road, will never look as good as yours, not when i keep painting it myself and doing a crap job, lol.
Taking my time a bit more this time around, doing the work bit by bit without taking car off the road until i actually paint it.

Re: My 80 Trans Am
yes take your time on the prep put plenty of paint on then you can flat and buff to a good finish

Re: My 80 Trans Am
as kev said, main thing is plenty of paint
2 top custom body shops (Fulford motorsport and charisma bodytech) bring cars to us prior to final finishing for mot and spray finish is not great but both say they would never let a car go out with "as sprayed" finish. always flat and polish so main thing is thick coat even if it is orange peel.

Re: My 80 Trans Am
I used 1500 right up to 2500 then then I used g3 with the hard sponge be very careful not to go through the paint. I also sprayed water when I was using g3 and the mop. then I used g10 with the soft mop then I finished with the 3m blue top with soft mop that gets rid of the swirl marks. then I polished with autoglem resin .not saying its the proper way but that's how I did it and it looks really well
