Went to fit it and the thread part sheared off in my throttle body!

Yes needs to be kept dry really i have a garage on the otherside but its full of work stuff and not really big enough for a firebird.
I did have a machine mart portable garage but it was wetter inside with condensation ! The heavy winds killed that lol. I did think about a lock up but i like it being at home.

How did you manage to get the threaded bit out,like the shiny air filter,mine was chrome but painted it gold,when i shut the hood it took all the paint off

Always better to keep it at home as if you feel like going for a drive then you can without thinking I have got to drive to the garage collect the car and then go for the drive, normally by that point you are bored lol.

You must be able to put a car port on the side of the house to keep it dry

when it broke i though oh f**k kept calm and got some square nosed pliers wedged them inside the thread and it turned !!! i was happy to get it out there sending me a new one they said dont do it tight lol

Just took it out it sounds great now really good inside the car sounds fast now not quiet best 40 quid i have spent in ages. And the seats great too
