SuperPontiac Rebuild

Post by SuperPontiac on Wed Nov 12, 2014 7:33 pm

Ok then this is my dream machine, its a 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. Its also my first car yea! Its currently in the batcave being overhauled because future plans require the engine to be ready for the additional increased power.

The car has a few modifications which i have done, and others are currently under development.

The car has a built in PC which is located in the boot storage compartment, theres a touchscreen screen mounted in the centre console which controls all entertainment & navigational requirements thru the computer. The PC is also connected to the ECU for onscreen DIAQ and displays engine readouts etc. Speakers and Subpooofer have also been installed.

The top of the dash has a been redone with fabric and this prevents any glares from sunlight.

Everything else atm is due to change as this is a now into the overhaul stage to support the extra power that is planned, so the engine as you can see is currently being removed to be rebuilt new pistons, conrods, valves serviced etc etc so it that will be ready to take a replacement intake & fuel system. Other planned modifications are replacement exhaust system and side exhaust vents, and hopefully a supercharger kit will also be fitted.

The brakes and suspension components will be replaced with more modern and performance type kits. Everything else will be serviced according to their condition.

Paint will also be resprayed with a deeper red body, matt black engine bay & silver and black engine components.

Anyway enuff with the blaaah heres some piccies
