Assuming as well that your car is the green one with nostrils on the bonnet?

Re: Pontiac Firebird in having a look at tomorrow
Yes, it is the Dark Green Trans AM WS6.
In 1996, there were only 2050 Trans AM WS6 made.
I've owned this car for 9 years, not driven it in the rain, and kept it in a garage.
It is in really good condition for a 20-year-old car.
350ci V8, 6 speed transmission. (256mph speed limiter)
Although the speedo only goes up to 150mph, the 1996 M6 had a 256mph speed limiter set. (GM changed this on later models)
Mods include:
SN2000 supercharger
Long tube headers
Electric water pump
160 thermostat
Uprated fuel injectors
Bora Stainless Exhaust
HID pop-up lights with UK Lenses
Tuned
Cooling fan over-ride
An iPod adaptor on original Radio cassette player
Rear adjustable shocks
Rear lights rewired. (rear indicators are LEDs, indicator relays replaced with electronic)
Spec stage 2 clutch with lightened flywheel
Uprated engine & gearbox mounts
Most sensors have been replaced only due to age rather than faults. (Including the opti)
New front fog lights, and covers (To protect from stones!)
Extras it would come with/not fitted:
LS1 front brake upgrade with LS1 spindles.
Windows XP laptop, with tuning software & dongle.
Original ran air intake air filter (Supercharger fitted instead)
Lowered springs (never fitted)
Suspension bush kit.
New WS6 wheel centres.
Loads of spare parts.
History including all MOT slips.
I think this is worth £8000, being a rare low volume model, and really low mileage.
I am though open to sensible offers.

Sounds amazing. What kind of power rating is it at with all that?
My partner asks does its air conditioner work?

Power wise, i would estimate 400 odd HP, with just as much torque.
A supercharger and long tubes with a tune would easily add 100 HP over stock.
Comes with working air con.

My partner and I will be going to Northampton American car show this weekend as its not too far a hop for us both in the hope we find a Car for sale at the right money. Still persoablly after a firebird myself rather than a mustang. Are any of you club members going as well?

Re: Pontiac Firebird in having a look at tomorrow
Went to billings yesterday and didn't find a car to buy :-( plenty of cars for sale bit well out of our budget range. A few Pontiac firebirds for sale but some over 20 grand. One guy was selling a white trans am for 11 grand but needed some work doing to make it work well he said. Max we can stretch to at the moment is 7 grand. Asked him to call if he lowers the price and fixes the car up.

Re: Pontiac Firebird in having a look at tomorrow
There is a few cheap ones around still. It might even be worth making offers on some that are only a grand or so over your limit as they don't seem to be selling well at moment so most of them have been for sale for a while.
A bit out of your price range but here is a nice looking s/e replica for just £25.000.I think most people on here will recognise it.
